Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned

counsel for the respondent.

The matter is settled before the Karnataka Mediation Centre for an amount of Rs.3,75,000/-. In the memorandum of settlement, the parties have stated that out of the compensation of Rs.3,75,000/-, the petitioner has deposited a sum of Rs.1,87,500/- and the same has already been withdrawn by the respondent and the respondent has acknowledged receipt of the same. Out of the balance amount of Rs.1,87,500/-, the petitioner has agreed to pay Rs.1,52,000/- to the respondent as full and final settlement of all the claims of the respondent against the petitioner and the petitioner has agreed to receive the said amount in two

installments. The first installment of Rs.76,000/- will be paid within 30 days from the date of signing this agreement.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made the payment of Rs.75,000/- on 20.07.2026 and the same is acknowledged by learned counsel for the respondent and balance amount of Rs.77,000/- is payable within 60 days from the date of payment of first installment i.e., 20.07.2026.

The memorandum of settlement is accepted and the revision petition is disposed of in terms of the agreement entered into between the parties. The petitioner/accused is acquitted for the offence punishable under Section 138 of N.I.
