The Police Authority has issued an endorsement stating that notice was served on the respondent-accused No.1 on 03.09.2025 and that on 04.09.2025, the respondent–accused No.1 committed suicide, pursuant to which a UDR has been registered. A photocopy of the UDR has been furnished by the learned High Court Government Pleader for petitioner and is taken on record. The death certificate along with a copy thereof, is also placed on record.

In view of the death of the respondent–accused No.1, the question of considering this petition does not survive for consideration. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as having become infructuous .
