The complainant has filed the present complaint alleging willful

¶42

disobedience of the order dated 17.10.2025 in Writ Petition No.31373/2025 (LB-BMP). By the said order, the concerned authorities were directed to secure instructions as to whether the

construction being raised by the parties arrayed as respondent Nos.7 to 9 in the said petition, was in accordance with the sanctioned plan. It was further directed that the officer would take effective steps to ensure that no further construction is carried out.

The learned counsel appearing for BBMP submits that a confirmation order was passed, however, the same was appealed against by the accused No.7 to 9 before the Chief Commissioner, Greater Bengaluru Authority and an order of status quo has been passed in the said appeal, [Appeal No.75/2026].

In view of the above, we are not persuaded to accept that there is any willful disobedience of the orders passed by this Court by the concerned authorities. The complaint is, accordingly, closed.

¶48

However, we clarify, this would not preclude the complainant from pursuing his substantive remedies.
