This Writ Petition Habeas Corpus is filed seeking a direction to the respondents-Police to secure the son of petitioner who is missing since 11.01.2025. Subsequently, a missing complaint was lodged by the petitioner before the jurisdictional Police which was registered in Crime No.91/2025 dated 20.03.2025.

It is submitted by the learned HCGP that pursuant to the FIR, the respondents-jurisdictional Police have made their best efforts to trace the son of the petitioner and to that effect, two reports were filed by the learned HCGP.

We have the perused the status report filed by the learned HCGP, which depicts that the Police have made their efforts to trace the son of the petitioner and during the course of investigation, the respondents-Police also filed the Call Detail Registers of missing person, his parents and other suspected persons.

In that view of the matter, we are of the view that

the respondents have made their efforts to trace the son of the petitioner and this Habeas Corpus does not survive for further consideration. However, the respondents-Police were directed to make their sincere efforts to trace the son of the petitioner.

With these observations, the Writ Petition Habeas

Corpus is disposed of .
