ORAL ORDER

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief:

“Grant a writ of mandamus or any other writ or order directing the respondents to consider the representations dated 13.03.2020 and 06.11.2024 made by the petitioner produced at Annexures V and W and to pay the arrears of salary amounting to Rs.4,56,000/- (Rs.6,000/- per month from November 2018 to March 2025) and any other applicable benefits.”

The case of the petitioner is that, she was appointed as an Anganvadi helper in the year 2018. From the date she was appointed, she was being paid the salary. Suddenly from 2019 she was not paid the salary. Therefore she has given representations on 13.03.2020

and 06.11.2024 as per Annexures V and W. So far, the representations have not been considered. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

The learned AGA appearing for the State submits that if this Court grants some reasonable time, the representations submitted by the petitioner vide Annexures V and W would be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition stands disposed of directing respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.03.2020 and 06.11.2024 as per Annexures V and W, in accordance with

law, as expeditiously as possible, not later than three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
