Heard Smt Hema Kariyappa, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri Mohammed Jaffar Shah, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

Petitioner is the son of one Hemanth G, who gets convicted for the offences punishable under Section 302 and 120B r/w 34 of the IPC in S.C.No.1 of 2021.

It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner, being the son of the convict (CTP No.00922), has met with an accident and therefore, the necessity of the father being present is imperative.

This Court in W.P.No.34524 of 2024, by order dated 05-03-2025, had granted emergency parole to the convict (CTP No.00922) for a period of 15 days, which would expire on the evening of 20-03-2025. In view of the health condition of the petitioner who has met with an accident, I deem it appropriate to extend the parole to the convict for a period of another 15 days, subject to the very same conditions that were stipulated earlier, to become operational from the forenoon of 21-03-2025 till the evening of 04-04-2025.
