The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the

following reliefs:

(a) Direct the Respondents that petitioner MOHAMMED IRFAN CTP-00617 who was lodged in Respondent No.5's Central Prison Mysore as convict prisoner undergone life sentence for over 18 years, to consider and decide petitioner's application for premature release expeditiously.

(b) Pass any other order(s) which this court may deem fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice.

(c) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ or direction, direct the Respondent No.2 to return the original testimonial of the Petitioner as requested in letter dated 23.02.2024 (Annexure-A), which were submitted at the time of admission of the Respondent No.2 college in the interest of justice and equity.
