The petitioner filed this writ petition seeking a mandamus directing respondent No.2 to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Associate Professor as per representations vide Annexures-L and M.

Brief facts leading rise to the filing of this petition are as follows:

2.1. The petitioner is working as Assistant Professor

in respondent No.2-Institute and he is required to be granted promotion as Associate Professor. He submitted representations vide Annexures-L and M to respondent No.2 to consider his case, however, respondent No.2 has not passed any orders on the said representations. Hence, this writ petition.
