The prayer in the petition is to issue a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.4 -Tahsildar to issue Saguvali chit in favour of the petitioner pursuant to the order of regularization of unauthorised occupation passed by the Committee on 30.12.2016 by considering the representation at Annexure-G dated 18.04.2025.

It is the contention of the petitioner that his father, late Sri.Pooja Hanumaiah, was granted 29 guntas of land in Survey No.32 of Honnenahalli Village, Sompura Hobli, Nelamangala Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District, while considering the application filed by the petitioner’s father in Form No.53. The resolution was passed by the Committee on 30.12.2016. However, saguvali chit is not issued till date and the name of the grantee has not been entered in the revenue records.

The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.4 – Tahasildar, Nelamanagala Taluk, to consider the representation given

by the petitioner at Annexure-G dated 18.04.2025, verify

from the records and find out whether the petitioner's father was indeed granted the land. If it is found that the Committee had in fact regularised the land in favour of the petitioner's father, the respondent-Tahasildar shall

proceed to collect the kimmath from the petitioner and subsequently, pass necessary orders issuing Saguvali chit in favour of the petitioner's father and enter his name in the land records pursuant to issuance of the Saguvali chit in accordance with law. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the petitioner may file an application seeking entry of his name or that of the legal representatives of the original grantee Sri.Pooja Hanumaiah.
