The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the

following reliefs;

i. Issue a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ quashing the order passed in MAG/685/202425 dated 11.07.2025 passed by the R1 vide Annexure-A.

ii. Pass any other order, which the Hon’ble Court deems fit in the interest of justice and equity.

What is challenged in the present matter is the order of externment dated 11.07.2025 passed by Respondent No.1 at Annexure-A.

A perusal of the said order would indicate that notice had been issued to the Petitioner and the Petitioner had appeared before Respondent No.1 and placed his say about in the matter.

Though the contention of the Petitioner is that a notice had been received, but the police report had not been furnished to the Petitioner. No such contention had been taken up before respondent No.1 before the impugned order was filed.

In that view of the matter, I am of the considered opinion that the service of notice having been accepted. The Petitioner cannot now contend that the documents accompanying the notice had not been received. Be that as it may, once an opportunity of hearing has been provided to the Petitioner, the Petitioner would have an ordinary efficacious remedy in terms of appeal under Section 59 of the Karnataka Police Act, 1963.

Reserving such liberty, the petition stands dismissed
