The petitioner is before this court seeking the following

prayers:

"i) Issue a Writ of Certiorari/mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, direction or order to the Hon'ble Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, at Hoskote, for adjudication of the suit in O.S.No.2457/2022 (old OS.No.783/2009) pending before the Hon'ble Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, at Hoskote, by fixing time frame for speedy disposal,

ii) grant such other relief or reliefs as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit to grant in the circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice, equity and law."

Heard Sri.Chandrashekar C., learned counsel

appearing for the petitioner and have perused the material on record.

The petitioner is the plaintiff, institutes a suit in O.S.No.783/2009, which is later re-numbered as O.S.No.2457/2022, but the fact remains that the suit is instituted in the year 2009. The suit is for Specific Performance.

It is shocking that the suit for Specific Performance is pending

before the concerned Court for the last 16 years.

In that light, I deem it appropriate to infuse finality into the proceedings with a direction to the concerned Court to dispose suit in O.S.No.783/2009 re-numbered as O.S.No.2457/2022 with an outer limit of three months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order, if not earlier.

Ordered accordingly and Writ Petition is disposed .
