The petitioners have sought for a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representations dated 05.09.2023 and 17.10.2023 filed before the respondent No.3 for approval of a building plan in respect

of the petition schedule property. They have also sought for a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondent No.1 to complete the proceeding within a time frame.

When this petition was listed for orders, the learned counsel for the respondent Nos.1 to 4 has filed a memo and has enclosed therewith print out of screenshots of the portal of Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) EoDB platform, which show that the application of the petitioner for sanction of a building plan was rejected on 23.11.2023 on the ground that the property lay beneath a high tension line buffer zone. In that view of the matter, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed .

The respondent Nos.1 to 4 are directed to issue appropriate communication to the petitioners indicating the reasons for which the application for sanction of building plan was rejected, so as to enable them to challenge the same in the manner known to law. This shall be done within a period of 10 days from today.
