The petitioner is before this Court seeking the

following prayer:

a. Issue writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the 1^st respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 06-10-2023 as per Annexure-B forthwith without any further delay.

b. Pass any appropriate order or direction as deems fit by this Hon’ble Court under the facts and circumstances of the case by allowing this writ petition with cost in the interest of justice and equity.

The petitioner, who is the employee of the Corporation, is imposed a penalty of reduction/withholding of one increment against which the petitioner is said to have preferred an appeal in the year 2023. The appeal not having been disposed is, what has driven the petitioner to this Court, in the subject petition.
