The Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs:

a. Issue a writ of mandamus directing the R2 to approve the admission of the petitioner in 3 years LL.B., Course in the 3^rd respondent college.

b. Issue a writ of mandamus directing respondent Nos. 2 & 3 to permit the petitioner to appear in 1^st semester examination of the 3 years LL.B., Course for the academic year 2024-25 in the interest of justice and equity.

c. Pass such other order or orders as this Hon’ble Court deems fit in the facts and circumstances of the case.

Similar matter has been decided by this Court on 05.08.2025 in W.P.No.103653/2025

(Shri.Shamasundar vs. The State of Karnataka and another). The reasoning of this Court would be equally applicable to the present matter. Hence, the following:

i) The Writ Petition is allowed.

ii) A mandamus is issued directing Respondent

No.2 to issue eligibility certificate to the Petitioner on the basis of BA degree completed by the Petitioner, for the purpose of admission into 3 year law course, within 3 days from today.

iii) A certificate shall be issued by the end of day 23.08.2025 so as to enable the Petitioner to apply to a college of his choice, since the last date of submitting the application for admission is said to be 28.08.2025.
