Khazi, J.), 9 July 2025: Two Section 482 Cr.P.C petitions by the husband (Sharath Kumar G.C @ Bhujangaradya) were allowed on the basis of a compromise with the wife (Lathamani). A joint memo filed in Crl.Misc.No.558/2023 recorded the wife's undertaking (Para (c)) to withdraw the criminal proceedings against the husband and her receipt of gold ornaments and Rs.7,000/- cash (Clause (b)). The wife admitted the compromise in court and raised no objection. Finding the terms and conditions of the compromise legal and equitable, the Court accepted them and quashed (i) the proceedings in CC.No.18281/2022 (Cr.No.9/2022) of Mysuru Women Police for offences punishable under Sections 498A, 504, 506 IPC pending before the XIII Addl.
