speedy disposal of the trial pending against him in CC No.12729/2020 on the file of the XXXIX Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bengaluru, within a time bound manner.

in Crime No.393/2018 of H.S.R Layout Police Station, Bengaluru city, for the offences punishable under Section 380 of IPC.

The incident took place on 28.11.2018 wherein

the de facto complainant has alleged that some unknown persons have committed theft of gold and silver ornaments from his house, in his absence. The case was registered against unknown persons. Charge sheet came

to be filed against the petitioner for the offences punishable under Sections 454 and 380 of IPC.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that many cases are registered against the petitioner, he is judicial custody and therefore, the trial Court may be directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same in a time bond manner.

Merely because there are many cases

registered against the petitioner that itself is not a ground to grant the relief sought. Such directions to the trial Court to conclude the trial in a time bound manner will adversely affect the functioning of the trial Court and it may be difficult to implement the direction. Hence, this
