(a) To transfer the M.C.No.3225/2025 this is pending on the file of Principal Family Court at Bengaluru to Family Court at Hassan in the interest of justice and equity."

Facts of the case are as under:

Matrimonial relationship between the parties is

strained and therefore respondent has filed a petition for divorce in M.C.No.3225/2025 on the file of Prl. Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru. Wife residing at Hassan is

seeking transfer of the case from Family Court, Bengaluru

to Hassan Court on the ground of geographical distance and financial incapacity.

Financial incapacity and geographical distance are no longer good parameters for transfer of a case from one

Court to another Court in view of video conferencing facility. If the petitioner files an application before the Court at Bengaluru to effectively participate in the pending matrimonial proceedings through video conferencing, the

learned Judge shall permit the petitioner to do so.
