Heard Sri Purushothama N., learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner and Sri Vikas M., learned counsel for the respondent.

Civil petition is filed with the following prayer:

“Wherefore, the petitioner most respectfully prays that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to;

a) Pass an order transferring the divorce petition in M.C.No.133/2024 filed by the respondent husband before the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Chikkamagaluru to the Family Court in Chitradurga as Annexure-D.”

Respondent is the husband of the petitioner and respondent having filed a divorce petition, which is pending on the file of Family Court, Chikkamagaluru. Said case is now sought to be transferred to the Family Court, Chitradurga.

Petitioner has expressed financial difficulty and also apprehends that she cannot visit Chikkamagaluru for effectively participating in the case without the proper assistance.

Such an apprehension of the petitioner can be

quelled by directing the petitioner to participate in the proceedings through Video Conferencing.

If any such application is filed by the petitioner before the Court at Chikkamagaluru, learned trial Judge shall permit the petitioner to participate through Video Conferencing.
