This contempt petition is initiated by the complainant in

view of non-compliance of the order passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P.No.718/2023 dated 13.01.2023.

In the order rendered by the learned Single Judge, there is a specific direction to the Assistant Commissioner, Bangalore North Sub-Division to forward all papers including the original records to the ADLR, Yelahanka Taluk, as expeditiously as possible within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order, which is indicated in paragraph No.7 of the order of the learned Single Judge.

Learned counsel Shri Sangamesh R.B. for the complainant is present before Court. Similarly, learned AGA for Respondent Nos.1 and 2 is also present. The learned AGA submits that interim order has been granted in the proceedings

in L & D No.4/2024 filed under the relevant provisions of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, which is pending before the Deputy Commissioner and hence the present contempt petition would not survive for consideration. The learned counsel for the complainant has filed a memo dated 28.01.2025 seeking liberty to file a fresh contempt after the disposal of the said appeal pending before the Deputy Commissioner or after the interim order granted in the said appeal is vacated. The same is taken on record.
