This contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of

the order dated 04.03.2024 passed in WP No.58266/2018 c/w

WP No.58265/2018.

Today, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent filed a memo reporting settlement. The memo reads as under:

"The complainant and the accused/respondent, with the intervention of the well-wishers and friends, settled their dispute with respect to the subject matter of the petition and as per their settlement the complainant No. 1 and 2 have agreed to receive Rs. 1,60,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Sixty Thousand Only), each, from the accused/respondent against their claim made in the petition. Accordingly, the accused has paid the complainant No. 1 amount of Rs. 1,60,000/- by way of Demand Draft bearing No. 524745, dated 13/10/2025, issued by Indian Bank, Richmond Circle Branch, Bangalore and paid the complainant No. 2 amount of Rs. 1,60,000/- by way of Demand Draft bearing No. 524746, dated 13/10/2025, issued by Indian Bank, Richmond Circle Branch, Bangalore. The complainant acknowledges the receipt of the same.

Wherefore the complainant No. 1 and 2 and the accused/respondent herein most respectfully pray this Hon'ble court may be pleased to close the matter in view of the said settlement in the interest of justice and equity in the ends of justice."
