Learned counsel for the respondent has filed an affidavit of the Divisional Controller, Dharwad stating compliance of the directions issued by the learned Single Judge. Annexures-R1 is the details of the cheques issued to the petitioners, the amount and the acknowledgment at the hands of the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are satisfied with the action taken by the respondent. Learned counsel would however submit that, satisfaction would be subject to honouring of the cheques given by the respondent.

Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed while granting liberty to the petitioners to revive this contempt petition, if the cheques are not honoured for any reason.
