Heard the learned counsel Sri. N.S. Bhat for the

revision petitioner.

Notice issued to the legal representatives of the deceased defacto complainant returned with an

Cheque amount is in a sum of Rs.15,000/-.

Accused-Revision Petitioner has been convicted

¶27

for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and ordered to pay a fine of Rs.15,000/- which shall be paid as a compensation to the complainant under Section 357 of Cr.P.C. failing which he shall undergo simple imprisonment for a period of six months.

A sum of Rs.10,000/- is already deposited by

the accused - revision petitioner and as per the memo filed

by the counsel for the revision petitioner, revision
