The petitioner, the respondent and their respective counsels are present before the Court.
joint memo. In the joint memo, it is stated that the Trial Court had ordered the petitioner to pay a total fine of Rs.2,70,000/and out of the same, Rs.5,000/- shall vest with the State and the same is confirmed in the appeal. It is stated that due to intervention of the well-wishers of both the parties, an amicable settlement has been arrived between the parties. It is also stated that the petitioner has deposited Rs.1,35,000/- before the Trial Court. Additionally, the petitioner has paid Rs.40,000/to the respondent-complainant today and the same is acknowledged by him and the matter is settled for total amount of Rs.1,75,000/-.
no objection to release the amount which is in deposit in favour of the respondent-complainant.
