The wife is before this Court seeking transfer of the petition that is filed for divorce by the husband before the Additional Senior Civil Judge and JMFC Puttur to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Bangalore.

The wife contends that she has a minor child to take care of and she is residing with her parents at Bangalore and, therefore, it would not be possible for her to travel to Puttur to defend herself.

In my view, having regard to the fact that the wife has a seven year old child to look after, it would be appropriate to transfer MC No.84/2022 which is pending on the file of the Additional Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Puttur to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Bangalore.
