The grievance of the complainant who was the original petitioner in the writ petition was that the sale deed was not being executed by the authority pursuant to the purchase of the property by the complainant in the auction. Learned Single Judge by order dated 13.10.2023 directed to consider the representation of the petitioner in that regard requiring the respondent to take an appropriate decision within eight weeks.

It is the aforesaid directions that are brought under the contempt jurisdiction of this court.

When the present contempt application came up for consideration today, learned advocate Mr.Murugesh V Charati for the respondent-accused produced a Memo dated 13.03.2023 stating inter alia that endorsement dated 16.02.2024 has been issued by the Bangalore Development Authority. A copy thereof is also produced on record.

The said endorsement dated 16.02.2024 reflects that

the representation of the petitioner is decided and the said directions are complied with.

5. In the aforesaid view, the contempt proceedings are
