In this contempt application, the grievance was made that the direction issued by learned Single Judge in order dated 24.08.2023 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.11.2022 was not complied with. Representation was with regard to the change of Khata in the name of petitioner.

Today when the application came up for consideration, learned advocate for the respondent produced memo dated 28.03.2024 along with which also produced the endorsement dated 25.01.2024 in which it is stated that change of Khata in respect of property concerned is complied with.

In view of the said endorsement indicating that the change of Khata has been acted upon in favour of the petitioner, the present contempt proceedings no more survives. They are closed.

However, at this stage, learned advocate Mr.Anandeeswara D.R., for the complainant stated that in the endorsement dated

25.01.2024 as well as in the original order dated 25.01.2024 ‘old No.145/19’ is wrongly indicated which ought to have been ‘old No.145/A’.

4.1 Learned advocate for the respondent No.1 accepts that there

is an error in issuing the order itself as the wrong old number is mentioned. He made a statement that the competent authority shall rectify the number from 145/19 to 145/A and the corrected order shall be issued within one week.

With the aforesaid direction and based on statement of the learned advocate for the respondent No.1, the contempt proceedings are disposed of.
