The claim of the petitioners in the writ petition was for promoting them to the post of Chief Officer, Grade-I. By the order dated 13.09.2023, learned Single Judge disposed of the writ petition observing that for the purpose of entitlement to be promoted, the petitioners had relied on the Seniority List dated 21.04.2021. In that context, learned Single Judge directed respondent Nos.2 and 3-authorities to consider the request of the petitioners and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law keeping in mind the seniority list.
