THESE WRIT PETITIONS ARE FILED UNDER ARTICLES 226 AND 227 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA PRAYING TO DIRECT THE RESPONDENTS TO FINALISE THE AGREEMENT AWARDED TO THE PETITIONER AS PER ANNEXURE-A.

The petitioner is before this Court seeking the following

prayer:

"WHEREFORE, the petitioner most respectfully prays that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the Respondents to finalise the agreement awarded to the petitioner

as per Annexure – A, and pass such further or other orders as the Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice."

" Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the Joint Memo at Annexure-C, the respondent-South Western Railway, at Annexure-D, has stated that there are no dues from the petitioner. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that in view of the acknowledgement by the respondent-South Western Railway that there are no dues from the petitioner, the petition for a mandamus directing the respondent to finalise the agreement as per Annexure-A needs to be ordered.

There is no representation on behalf of the respondents. In order to afford an opportunity, re-list these matters next week."

the respondent would submit that if reasonable time is granted the grievance of the petitioner would be redressed.
