In this petition, the petitioner has prayed for quashing the award dated 27.04.2019 in Ref. No.76/2017 passed by the District and Sessions Judge,

Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal, Mysore vide (Annexure-F).

After negotiations, the parties have arrived at settlement. Accordingly,

both the parties have filed a Joint Memo duly signed before the Lok Adalath. The said Joint Memo reads as follows :

“The WP filed against the award in Ref. No. 76/2017 dated 27.4.2019 on the file of the Industrial Tribunal, Mysuru has been settled between the parties on the following terms and the award may kindly be modified as under:

1. The petitioner – Corporation to restore one increment without arrears till the date with notional fixation.

2. The respondent – workman has agreed for the settlement”.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of modifying the Award dated 27.04.2019 passed by the District and Sessions Judge, Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal, Mysuru in Ref. No. 76/2017 vide Annexure ‘F’.
