In this writ petition, the petitioner is challenging

the order dated 29.10.2022 passed by respondent No.2, interalia direction to the respondents to enter the name of the petitioner in khata.

Having taken note of the factual aspects on record that the order in question is passed by 2^nd respondent herein, in terms of Section 49(G) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964, the petitioner is directed to approach the Director, Department of Survey, settlement and land records.

With these observations, writ petition is disposed of. It is made clear that, the period spent by the petitioner before this Court be condoned, in the event, an appeal is preferred by the petitioners.
