On 03.06.2023, the victim girl had left her house and had reached Majestic and from there, she had traveled alongwith the petitioner to Dharmastala and they got married there. Thereafter, they stayed in Dharmastala for a period of ten days. The victim has stated during such stage, the petitioner had hugged her and kissed her. There is no allegation of sexual assault by the petitioner. From Dharmastala, they had traveled to Male Mahadeshwara temple and stayed there for a period of ten days. Thereafter, as the victim had received a message that her mother was not well, the petitioner and the victim had returned and on information, the police came to the petitioner's sister house and took them. From a perusal of the aforesaid statement, it is clear that no serious allegations are made against the petitioner. Even in the charge sheet filed, only offences under section 363 IPC and sections 7 and 8 of the POCSO Act are invoked. Investigation in the case is complete and charge sheet has been filed.
