The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 16.02.2022 and further direct the respondents to issue Record of rights and RTC in favour of the petitioner. A challenge is also made to Annexure 'K-1' and for quashing the notice and proceedings initiated vide Annexures 'L' and 'M'.

The grievance of the petitioner is that despite an order of this Court, the Deputy Commissioner is yet to dispose off the revision petition which is pending before him. It is submitted that the petition pending before the Deputy Commissioner is of the year 2007 and despite lapse of 15 years, the matter has not yet reached finality.

In view of the said submission, in my view, it would be necessary to direct the Special Deputy Commissioner, Bengaluru North Sub-Division, to dispose off RRT (2) N C.R.7/2007-08 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
