October 2020 and filed petition for maintenance in C.Mis.516/2020 pending before this court and another petition in C.Mis.147/2020 now pending before the Prl. 1 Civil Judge & JMFC., Mysuru, under the provision of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act and also on 24/10/2020 2 petitioner has filed a complaint before Mahila Police Station, U/s 498 A, 506 r/w 34 IPC and 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. Aggrieved by the FIR filed in 79/2020, the 1" petitioner preferred an Appeal before the Hon'ble High Court of Karnataka. Under these circumstances, both the petitioners made several attempts to reconcilliate their marital dispute amicably and all their efforts ended in vain. Finally both the petitioners thought that there is no chance of reunion between them. Under these circumstances, petitioner No.2 accepted Rs.50,00,000/- as permanent alimony and both the petitioners agreed to dissolve their marriage by mutual consent and petitioner No.2 also agreed to withdraw all those cases filed against petitioner No.1. Further petitioner No.2 has reported before the court that she has received Rs.50,00,000/- as full and final settlement of permanent alimony and they have also exchanged their things given and taken at the time of marriage. Further both the petitioners clearly deposed in the affidavit that henceforth they will not claim maintenance, permanent alimony, right, title or interest over movable and immovable properties of each other. With that agreement, both the petitioners filed this petition to obtain decree of Divorce by mutual consent by dissolving the marriage.”
