The essential grievance of the petitioners is against not holding the regular election. The petition was resisted by the learned AGA appearing for the official respondents on the ground that during the Covid-19 like extraordinary situation the elections could not be held, in time.

also submits that the election could be held before long and expeditiously, in terms of the above Circular; there is no reason to doubt his submission.
In the above circumstances, this writ petition is disposed off, directing the answering respondents to accomplish the conduct of election with an outer limit of three months.
