THIS WRIT PETITION IS FILED UNDER ARTICLES 226 AND 227 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA PRAYING TO QUASH THE ORDER DATED 08.02.2019 IN NO.ROWDY SHEET/01/ACP/ECT/2019 PASSED BY THE 3^RD RESPONDENT GRANTING PERMISSION TO DECLARE THE PETITIONER AS A ROWDY SHEETER COMMUNICATING THE SAME TO THE 4^TH RESPONDENT REQUIRING HIM TO OPEN A GRADE ROWDY BOOK, AS PER THE KARNATAKA POLICE MANUAL PART-2 ORDER NO.1059 (1 AND 2) AND TO AFFIX THE PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE PETITIONER AND TO ENTER PERSONAL INFORMATION OF ROWDY AND TO REPORT COMPLIANCE TO HIM, AS PER ANNEXURE-A.

Shri. M.S. Rajendra Prasad submitted that

petitioner would be satisfied if prayer made in the apetitioner's representation dated 30.01.2021 filed under Memo dated 01.02.2021 is considered and his name is removed from the Rowdy List.

Shri. Vinod Kumar submitted that the

representation is given to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Bangalore South East Zone and he is not a party in the writ petition. If DCP is made as a party respondent, he shall consider the representation in accordance with law within an outer limit of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. His submission is placed on record.

As prayed for by learned Senior Advocate, petitioner is permitted to implead DCP, Bangalore South East Zone as respondent No.5. Amendment shall be carried out forthwith.

5. In the circumstance, petition is disposed of with

a direction to the DCP, Bangalore South East Zone to consider petitioner's request made in his representation dated 30.01.2021.
