Heard Shri Ajoy Kumar Patil, learned advocate for the petitioner and Shri B.N.Ambrish, learned advocate for respondent No.1.

Shri Patil submitted that so far as sixth semester is concerned, VTU has taken a policy decision to pass all students but the said benefit is not extended to the petitioner. He submitted that this Court has upheld the penalty. Hence, petitioner may be permitted to appear for seventh semester examination. He further submitted that practical examinations are in progress and petitioner is appearing in them. He prayed

that petitioner may be permitted to appear for the written examinations of seventh semester, which is likely to commence from 17.02.2021.

Learned advocate for the VTU has no objection.

Accordingly, review petition is disposed of with the following:

ORDER

(i) VTU shall announce petitioner's sixth semester

results immediately; and

(ii) Petitioner shall be permitted to appear in

written examination for seventh semester.
