THIS WRIT PETITION IS FILED UNDER ARTICLES 226 AND 227 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA PRAYING TO QUO WARRANTO OUSTING THE R-3 TO 7 SYNDICATE MEMBERS OF BANGALORE UNIVERSITY, AS THEIR NOMINATION IS NULL AND VOID, CONTRARY TO THE STATUTORY PROVISIONS WHICH IS IN CLEAR VIOLATION OF S.28[g] OF THE UNIVERSITY ACT AND THUS THE SAID SEAT FALLEN VACANT AND ETC.,
THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN ‘B’ GROUP THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER
Learned counsel for the petitioners along with learned counsel for the respondents submit that the term of election of the syndicate in question, which is challenged before this court has come to an end. Therefore, they submit that this writ petition would not survive for consideration as it has become infructuous.
