THIS WRIT PETITION IS FILED UNDER ARTICLE 226 AND 227 OF CONSTITUTION OF INDIA PRAYING TO DIRECT THE RESPONDENTS NO. 1 & 2 TO CONSIDER THE REPRESENTATIONS OF THE PETITIONERS, VIDE ANNEXURE C & C1, DATED 26.11.2019 & 21.12.2019 TO PASS A SUPPLEMENTARY AWARD IN RESPECT OF HORTICULTURE CROPS/STANDING TREES, OF THE PETITIONERS ACQUIRED LAND BEARING SY NO’S 4/3, 15/1 & 16/11 OF SHARADAL VILLAGE, BAGALKOT TALUKA & ETC.

ORDER

In this writ petition, the petitioner has sought for the following reliefs:

“Issue a Writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents No. 1 & 2 to consider the representations of the petitioners, vide Annexure C & C1, dated 26.11.2019 & 21.12.2019 to pass a supplementary award in respect of horticulture crops/standing trees, of the petitioners acquired land bearing Sy No’s 4/3, 15/1 & 16/11 of Sharadal village, Bagalkot taluka.

Any other and further relief as this Honorable Court deems fit and just in the ends of justice”.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners

and learned HCGP for the respondents. Perused the material on record.

It is the grievance of the petitioners that their representations dated 26.11.2019 and 21.12.2019 at Annexures- C and C1 submitted to the respondents have not been considered so far by them nor any order has been passed on the same. Under these circumstances, the petitioners are before this Court by way of the present petition.

Per contra, learned HCGP for the

respondents submits that if reasonable time is given, they would consider and pass necessary order on the said representations.

In view of the aforesaid facts and

circumstances and rival submissions, respondents are hereby directed to address the grievances of the petitioners and consider their representations dated 26.11.2019 and 21.12.2019 at Annexures-C and C1

and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid directions, the petition stands disposed off.
