This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying to quash the entire proceedings against the petitioner in C.C.No.1843/2016 on the file of the JMFC –III Court at Shivamogga for the offence punishable under Sec. 138 of N.I. Act.

The case in C.C.No.1843/2016 against the accused is pending before the JMFC III Court, Shivamogga for offences under Section 138 of the NI Act. The learned counsel submits that the trial is going on in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Cr.P.C. as well as under the provisions of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872. Hence, the learned counsel fairly submits that this petition may be disposed of as withdrawn.
