The petitioner is before this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a direction to the respondents to remove the name of the petitioner from the rowdy sheet list.

registration of FIR in Crl. P. No. 100614/2017 before this Court and this Court had stayed the further proceedings in Crime No. 38/2017. The respondent No.5 had registered another FIR in Kudachi Police Station Crime No. 40/2017 for the offences punishable u/S 32, 34, 24(1) and 38(A) of Karnataka Excise Act, 1965, which, according to the petitioner, was challenged in Crl. P. No. 100891/2017, which came to be dismissed on 12.03.2018. The petitioner is aggrieved by the entry of his name in the rowdy sheet list in the Kudachi Police Station.
