This Criminal Appeal filed under Section 377 of the code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, by the State Public Prosecutor for the state praying to enhance the sentence imposed by the II Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Bangalore in C.C.No.4706/2000 dated 7.10.2004 convicting the respondents/accused for the offences punishable under Section 498-A of IPC, Section 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and Section 324 of IPC and etc;
This appeal coming on for Hearing this day, the Court delivered the following:
JUDGMENT
The present appeal is filed by the State, seeking enhancement of the sentence imposed on the respondents. Incidentally, the respondents herein had preferred an appeal against the judgment of conviction by the Trial Court before the Lower Appellate Court and the Lower Appellate Court having confirmed the same, a revision petition was filed in Cr.RP 1596/2006. The same was disposed of while confirming

the conviction of the appellants, but however, the fine was enhanced and the same has been paid by the accused.
infructuous, as this court has already considered the judgment passed in appeal, which was an affirmation of the very judgment, against which the present appeal is filed.
