This appeal is directed against the order dated 19.12.2025 passed by the learned A.J.C. XVIII, Ranchi in Misc. Criminal Application No. 2543/2025 in connection with Sukhdeonagar P.S. Case No. 455/2025, whereby and whereunder, the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected.

It has been alleged that some counterfeit currency notes were recovered from the possession of the appellant and another co-accused.

It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the appellant that two persons were apprehended with fake currency notes and one of the co-accused Md. Sabir @ Raja has been granted bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Appeal (DB) No. 1310 of 2025. It has further been submitted that the appellant is in custody since 23.08.2025.

Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the

appellant.

On consideration of the fact that the case of the present appellant seems to be similar to that of the coaccused, who has been granted bail as noted above, we while setting aside the order dated 19.12.2025 passed by the learned A.J.C. XVIII, Ranchi in Misc. Criminal Application No. 2543/2025 in connection with Sukhdeonagar P.S. Case No. 455/2025 direct that the appellant be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.J.C.
