1. Heard Mr. Pran Pranay, learned counsel for the appellant and learned A.P.P.

2. This appeal is directed against the order dated 18.11.2025 passed in B.P. No.667 of 2025 by learned Additional Sessions Judge-IX, Giridih arising out of Jamua P.S. Case No.244 of 2025, whereby and whereunder the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected.

3. It has been alleged that the appellant and Abhishek Kumar Rana were apprehended by the police and from the possession of Abhishek Kumar Rana fake currency notes of 500 denomination were recovered.

Submission has been advanced by learned counsel for the appellant that there has been no recovery of any currency notes from the possession of the appellant and all the currency notes have been recovered from the possession of Abhishek Kumar Rana. It has further been submitted that the appellant is in custody since 16.10.2025 and he does not have any criminal antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant.

6. Regard being had to the fact that there is no recovery of any fake currency notes from the possession of the appellant, we while setting aside the order dated 18.11.2025 passed in B.P.

No.667 of 2025 by learned Additional Sessions Judge-IX, Giridih arising out of Jamua P.S. Case No.244 of 2025, direct that the appellant be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Giridih in connection with Jamua P.S. Case No.244 of 2025.

7. Accordingly, this appeal is allowed.
