This criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed under section 528 of the BNSS, 2023 by the petitioners with the prayer for modification of the order dated 25.03.2025, passed in A.B.A. No. 1877 of 2025.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners were directed to surrender before the court below within six weeks but due to paucity of money, they could not deposit the cash security amount of Rs.20,000/- each, hence they could not surrender within the stipulated time. It is next submitted that in compliance of the said order dated 25.03.2025, the petitioners have deposited the said cash security amount of Rs.20,000/- each, a copy of receipt of which is annexed as annexure-1 of the supplementary affidavit dated 20.05.2026. Hence, it is submitted that time to surrender before the court below in terms of order dated 25.03.2025, passed in A.B.A. No. 1877 of 2025 be extended for six weeks from the date of this order.
