The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Lohsinghna P.S. Case No. 157 of 2025, registered for the offence under Sections 126(2)/127(2)/115(2)/140(2)/308(3)/308(4)/308(5)/356(2)/ 111(2)/351(2)/ 352/61(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hazaribagh.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a practicing advocate of this court and he has purchased two kathas of land from one Piyush Pandey, who also happened to be an advocate of this court and said Piyush Pandey has inherited the large chunk of land from his maternal grand-father and the land mafias are behind said Piyush Pandey and for that other cases have also been lodged against the petitioner, in which, the petitioner has already been provided the privilege of anticipatory bail. He further submits that one criminal writ has been filed by said Piyush Pandey against the local MLA and police administration of the concerned district, in which, the co-ordinate bench of this court has issued notice

upon the said persons.

Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State has opposed the prayer and submits that the allegations of making assault and getting signature on the stamp paper are there.

Considering that this petitioner has purchased two kathas of land from one Piyush Pandey and said Piyush Pandey has received the large chunk of land from his maternal grand-father and prima facie the land mafias are against said Piyush Pandey, for that he has filed criminal writ before this court against the local MLA and police administration of the district of Hazaribag, in which, notice has been issued, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to surrender before the learned court within four weeks from today and in the event of his surrender / arrest, the petitioner, named above, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000/- (twenty-five thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hazaribagh, in connection with Lohsinghna P.S. Case No. 157 of 2025, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
