05/ 25.02.2026 The petitioner is seeking regular bail, in connection with S.T. No. 161 of 2025 arising out of Arki P.S. Case No. 40 of 2025, registered for the offence under Section 310(2), 311 and 312 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 25(1-B)(a), 26, 35 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khunti.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has come on the basis of confessional statement and the person, who has taken the name of this petitioner has already been granted regular bail in B.A. No. 10114 of 2025 by the co-ordinate bench. He next submits that petitioner is in custody since 17.06.2025.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer and submits that the allegations of looting the mobile phone and cash are there.

Considering that the name of the petitioner has come on the basis of confessional statement and the person who has taken the name of this petitioner has already been granted regular bail in B.A. No. 10114 of 2025 by the co-ordinate bench and further the petitioner is in custody since 17.06.2025, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on regular bail.

Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on regular bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khunti, in connection with in connection with S.T. No. 161 of 2025 arising out of Arki P.S. Case No. 40 of 2025.
