03/ 12.05.2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned A.P.P for

the State and learned counsel appearing for the informant.

The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with R.I.T. P.S. Case No. 64 of 2025, registered for the offence under Sections 406/420/467/468/471/506/120-B of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Seraikella.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are the purchasers of the land in question and the land has been sold by one Dinesh Pradhan on the basis of Power of Attorney of Satish Kumar Mahapatra and he was the legal heir and successor of

Ramchandra Sharma and the said land was purchased from Keshar Gour. He further submits that said Dinesh Pradhan has already been provided the privilege of anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 2366 of 2026 by this court. On these grounds, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be provided to the petitioners.

Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State and learned counsel appearing for the informant have jointly opposed the prayer and submit that on the forged power of attorney, the land has been sold to the petitioners. On these grounds, they submit that anticipatory bail may kindly be rejected.

Considering that the petitioners are the purchasers and the power of attorney holder Dinesh Pradhan, on whose power of attorney, the lands were sold to the petitioners has already been provided the privilege of anticipatory bail in the aforementioned A.B.A. and in the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners, above named.

Accordingly, the petitioners, named above, are directed to surrender before the learned court within three weeks from today and in the event of their surrender / arrest, the petitioners shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000/- (twenty five thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Seraikella, in connection with R.I.T. P.S. Case No. 64 of 2025, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 482 (2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
