2. The petitioner in this criminal writ petition has made the following prayers:

“A) For issuance of an appropriate writ / writs, order / orders, direction / directions or a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the concern respondent authorities to investigate the Pratappur P. S. Case No 109/2024 (Annexure-1) properly and scientifically, because despite of some certain clue, which has been submitted to the I.O. of the case, no one has been apprehended in this case till date nor any progress is seen towards investigation though the case has been registered on 28.09.2024 under sections 103 and 3(5) of BNS and is pending in the Court of Smt. Sonali Singh, the learned S.D.J.M., Chatra.

B) For issuance of an appropriate writ / writs, order / orders, direction / directions or a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding upon the respondent No.8 (I.O. of the case) to investigate the instant case fairly and impartially according to the facts and circumstances available in this case, since after lodging of this FIR almost 4 months have been passed but till date no progress is being seen towards the investigation.

C) For issuance of an appropriate writ / writs, order / orders, direction / directions or a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding upon the respondents to take appropriate steps for arresting the accused persons, since till date no steps have been taken for their arresting, rather the I. O. of the case is trying to divert the direction of the investigation, which appear from his conduct as till date no one has been arrested though there is certain clue before the police.”

Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that the police is properly investigating the allegations and after appropriate time without any delay will take final steps.

Considering the submission of learned counsel appearing for the State, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the investigating officer to properly investigate the case and thereafter submit Final Report before the concerned Court on conclusion of the investigation.
