Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Raidih P.S. Case No. 16 of 2025 for the offences registered under Sections 103(1), 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of Mrs. Reema Kumari, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1^st Class, Gumla.

On 18.02.2025 at about 7.30 am, 4 to 5 unknown accused persons committed the murder of the husband of the informant, namely, Prasad Sahu, the neck of the deceased was slit open. Suspicion has been raised against the petitioner that due to previous enmity, he might have committed the murder of the deceased.

It was submitted that suspicion has been raised against the petitioner, but he has not been named as accused in the FIR. It was further submitted that the petitioner was put on test identification parade after three months from the date of occurrence and he has been identified by one of the witnesses. It was further submitted that the petitioner was earlier known to the informant. It was finally submitted that similarly situated co-accused person have been granted bail by this Court.

In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/(Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Mrs. Reema Kumari, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1^st Class, Gumla, or her successor, in connection with Raidih P.S. Case No. 16 of 2025.
