Heard the parties.

The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Parsudih P.S. Case No. 165 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 103(1), 238(a), 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamshedpur.

Petitioner happens to be the sister-in-law of the deceased Arti Devi, who was murdered in her matrimonial home.

Statement of the daughter of the deceased Khushboo Kumari aged about 8 years has been recorded during the course of investigation. She has stated that on the date of occurrence, there was some quarrel between her grandmother, this petitioner who is sister of her father and her mother Both the accused persons locked her mother in a room from inside and started assaulting her, she could hear the cry of alarm of her mother from outside. She has further stated that her mother was murdered.

It was submitted that mother-in-law of the deceased has been granted bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court.

From the postmortem report, it appears that the deceased has sustained injuries all over her body.

Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, her prayer for bail stands rejected.
